Sunderland Women’s Centre (SWC) is a charitable company limited by guarantee and based in the city centre of Sunderland. The organisation has been in existence since 1984, registered as a charity in 1996 and became incorporated in 2004.
Overall governance lies in the hands of an elected committee made up of learners and other interested women.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and concern for our student’s and staff welfare we have closed the centre until further notice. We will continue to update our social media pages as the situation changes.
5th October 2020
We are pleased to announce we are opening soon, offering limited courses. Appointments will need to be made for enrolling to keep us all safe and keep within government guidelines. Our social media pages will be updated with dates and further information soon.
